Teryl Worster, February Power Breakfast Speaker

Teryl began her career in the fitness industry in 1998 as a Personal Trainer, founding Mobile Motivation, a kids fitness business and several gym partnerships in Ft. Myers, Florida. She changed her career at 33 years old from hospitality management so she could have plenty of time to be with her three small daughters.

Her passion eventually led her to GAINESVILLE in 2005, joining with her current husband, Erich Worster, to begin her career in health and fitness with The Spa on Green Street, first teaching lunch time exercise classes in a room behind the front desk, hosting many devoted Gainesville residents to a 30 Minute calorie busting band class. This success spawned the opening of The Body Sanctuary, Inc. a boutique fitness studio on the square in 2006. They then merged this concept back with The Spa on Green Street in 2008 to maintain the business during the financial crisis of 2008-2009 bringing private yoga to The Spa menu.

In 2011, Teryl’s life was changed forever when her daughter Savannah was suddenly diagnosed with APML Leukemia and suffered a subsequent stroke due to the leukemia. She was forced into the world of Childhood cancer and children’s hospitals, helping her child fight for her life all while making sure The Spa on Green Street continued to thrive. Teryl now has a sincere passion to allow her experiences to be a source of inspiration to others. She has continued to successfully operate The spa on Green Street for over 15 years, her daughter Savannah is a cancer and stroke survivor, and she has found peace in a beautiful new home on 6 acres in Hall County.
